Abstract

Due to the panorama of Covid-19's health emergency worldwide, educational institutions face difficulties regarding how to proceed with the activities to be developed, affecting various sectors, such as high education. With this, the project “Bio +: encouraging sustainable actions through the young leaders of tomorrow”, conducted by Time Enactus UFCA, adapted its actions to the digital environment to work with high school students from the Cariri region, in Ceará, through online meetings, addressing issues related to social technologies, sustainability and youth leadership. After four months of the project, it was found to be possible to awaken the interest of young people to work in local development projects, with the guide of the viability of social technology projects such as biodigesters and filtering gardens, for example. As a complementary result, the Bio + Project sensitized the target audience to the importance of continuing their studies and entering higher education, notably in the undergraduate courses at UFCA.
