Abstract

Currently, numerous researches are being developed for the reuse and recycling of construction waste. It becomes evident that it is necessary to adopt management processes to reduce the inappropriate disposal of waste in the environment. This research has the general objective of demonstrating the possibility of using recycled RCC aggregates, considering their variability, in the production of concrete with mechanical performance and durability for structural purposes. As partial results, of the total waste generated in Pelotas, about 85% of mortar and concrete waste. Through the dosage study, we identified that the concrete produced with 35% of RCC presented results of resistance to axial compression and water absorption close to the concrete produced only with natural aggregate.
