AVALIAÇÃO DO NÍVEL DE SUSTENTABILIDADE NOS PROGRAMAS DE PÓS-GRADUAÇÃO EM ADMINISTRAÇÃO DE IES PÚBLICAS DO CEARÁ
Abstract
The sustainability theme appears as a prominent dimension in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), as the role of the university can directly impact the sustainable development of society. In this regard, graduate programs in Administration can play a leading role, given that they have the knowledge and skills necessary to share sustainable actions. Given this context, the present work has the general objective of evaluating the level of sustainability in postgraduate programs in Administration in public IES in Ceará. Methodologically, an exploratory quantitative research was carried out. The technique for data collection was the application of the instrument called Assessment Instrument for Sustainability in Higher Education (AISHE) version 2.0. It was found that postgraduate programs are in the initial stages of sustainable development in terms of the dimensions of identity, operations, education, research and society of the AISHE 2.0 instrument. It was also found that the PPG1, is not in a systematized stage, given the median equal to zero. On the other hand, PPG2 has a median equal to 2, with a process-oriented stage.
