Academic nursing practice in the face of pandemic by covid-19 in the emergency department

Abstract
This study aims to report the experience of a student of the Nursing Course in combating COVID-19 in Emergency Care Units in São Luís - MA. This is a qualitative, descriptive study, of the experience report type, referring to the activities carried out to describe in an integrative way, the experiences lived in two multiprofessional teams (Emergency Care Units) in carrying out actions to cope with COVID-19, appropriated bibliographic research to validate evidence from practice. Covid-19, a disease caused by the new corona virus (Sars-CoV-2) causing mild flu-like symptoms to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome. (SRAG)., The experience report comes to describe in an integrative way, the experiences lived in two multiprofessional teams (Emergency Care Units) in carrying out actions to cope with COVID-19, obtained through the monitoring of the 10th period student. Nursing Course CESB-UEMA, from May to November 2020. The actions taken as a member of the Nursing team on the front line in the fight against COVID-19 enabled the construction of aspects of extreme relevance for professional life and within the final period of the Bacabal Campus Nursing Course.
