Experience Report
UNIFESSPA in the neighborhoods of Rondon do Pará
Abstract
Nowadays, the capitalist market is very selective, especially when it comes to hiring employees, where the most qualified people are more likely to get the available vacancies. Due to this reality, the project aimed to promote the professional training of residents of Rondon do Pará neighborhoods or the management of their businesses. The project had two editions, the first started in August 2019 and the second in August 2020, where, in order to meet the proposed objectives, lectures, mini-courses and training workshops were developed for the population of the city in person, however, with the pandemic, activities were carried out online through the Google Meet platform. Still in its first edition, an action was carried out in the Jaderlândia neighborhood in partnership with the local residents' association, however, with the spread of Covid-19 cases, activities were suspended and later the project had to reinvent itself, with as a result, activities started to be performed exclusively online. The project has great potential, as it managed to corroborate the knowledge of both civil society and the academic community, with actions capable of promoting the intellectual, personal and professional training of the residents. In this way, the work deals with an experience report of a student of the accounting sciences course at the Federal University of the South and Southeast of Pará who was part of the UNIFESSPA project team in the neighborhoods of Rondon do Pará.
