Classroom teaching in the Federal University of Cariri
experiences and reflexions under the Objectives of Sustainable Development (ODS)
Abstract
This research analyses the Objectives of Sustainable Development – ODS in question, offering space to debates who show the ODS in the academic scope, through pedagogic practices involving teaching, research, and extension. So, the goal is about to identify the ODS in pedagogic practices in the Federal University of Cariri – UFCA. For this purpose, it was developed by an exploratory qualitative study through Google Forms, allowing the data collect with undergraduate professors of various courses. The research reveals that the major ODS contemplated in the pedagogic practices, as well the challenges against the proposes, plannings and execution of the actions in the Sustainable Development way. The university education emerges like the possibility to the promotion of the ODS, conducting to the formation and acting of the citizen and professionals with sustainable perspectives constructed by a pedagogic practice in the university.
