The contributions of extension activities to the academic skills of students of Public Administration
the case Fica Ativo! Repensar
Abstract
This essay aims to identify how participation in university extension projects can contribute to the students' educational background trajectory. The observed fact was of students from the public administration course of the João Pinheiro Foundation's Government School, who participated in the project "Fica Ativo! Repensar". A questionnaire was applied to the project participants between 2014 and 2018. It was possible to realize, those students, in their majority, established that the project allowed them to gain new knowledge, mainly in the areas like art, culture and public policies, in addition to assisting them in the perception of the complexity of public problems, and the development of interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
