Right to the city
experience of interdisciplinary extension in the accompaniment of community activities
Abstract
The city is a meeting place, marked by conflicting cultures and desires, which can result in segregation. In this experience report, the objective is to address the inclusion of students from the Architecture and Urbanism, Law and Psychology courses in the land conflict in Vila Vicentina (Fortaleza, Ceará), discussing the psychosocial implications of community activities for the community's struggle as and for training of students. To registration of the actions, field notes and field diaries were used. It was understood that, often, simple and common activities have great strength of mobilization, visibility and strengthening in resistance movements. Furthermore, extension actions were seen as an ethical and political element in professional training.
