Abstract
In its fifth volume, number two, from 2024, the EntreAções Journal: dialogues in extension, presents articles and reports that portray university extension in Brazil and three other Latin American countries, discussing the relationship between university and society, as well as its impacts.
In this issue, we will see, through this scientific journal, university extension permeated by several areas of knowledge (Human Sciences, Natural Sciences, Health Sciences and Education), portraying social transformation, bringing aspects of learning and impact on student education. In these manuscripts, we will be able to see Higher Education Institutions and their relationships with the external public, observing the political, social and cultural changes in student protagonism in Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica and Argentina.
