Abstract

The PET Missions Project is developed by the Tutorial Education Program of the Administration Course (PETADM) of the Federal University of Cariri (UFCA) and it was founded in 2015, aiming to promote practical experiences for the students in administration. This project consists on a week of visits to Northeastern cities that have companies in fields of activity that are not found in Cariri/Ceará. This paper describes the challenges in the execution of the project and its main results in the five years of operation. In 2019, the project was carried out in the capital of Bahia, in the city of Salvador. Participants had an opportunity to experience the routine and the challenges of 8 organizations, which are considered the highlights in the acting field. Among the participants, they reported that they would participate again in the project described the many possibilities brought up by the experience: networking, a bridge between theory and practice, new market opportunities, professional practice, contact with other cultures and inspiration for the career.
