Talking about the persistent digital identifier for authors
ORCID [Interview given to] Ricardo Aladim Monteiro and Fabiana Lazzarin
Abstract
Over the years and the emergence of new technologies, scientific publications changed from printed to electronic form, that evolution has brought new means of identification for journals and authors. In order to identify journals, there is the Digital Object Identifier (DOI), and to identify researchers, and in 2012 the Open Research and Contributor ID (ORCID) was created. To present this personal identifier, we interviewed professor Msc. Suely de Brito Clemente Soares, one of the references in the area. Suely is a managing partner of the company Content Mind Capacitação Profissional.
