Abstract
Abstract: The practice of cyberbullying has grown over the years. In view of the COVID-19 pandemic scenario, in which most school activities are carried out remotely. Therefore, the article aims to understand the effects of cyberbullying in the school context, showing students how the practice of cyberbullying happens, bringing a reflection of the effects of this practice for students of the 4th year of a private school in the city called Curitiba.This present article addresses the characteristics, consequences and forms of intervention in the practice of cyberbullying in the school environment, as well as an interview conducted in a school of Curitiba, investigating the existence of this practice of cyberbullying in the institution and how often it occurs. In addition, a project was developed with the students of the school, In order to demonstrate the effects that this practice generates on the person. Furthermore there are syndromes and disorders that can arise with the action of what is often called and considered only a “just kidding”, thus the article aims to demystify this concept, by presenting the meaning of a practice that results and consequences, such as negative emotions and depressive aspects.
