Making videos for sustainable education
Abstract
The present extension project was elaborated with the objective of solving the difficulties found in the public school network regarding the use of technology. Facing this problem, the monitors developed their activities remotely in three high schools in the cities of Jati-CE, Assaré-CE and Icó-CE, where during the execution it was possible to teach the ways of working with a tool called "PowerPoint". During the virtual meetings many difficulties were verified with regard to teaching, considering that the students were not prepared to face this situation of learning virtually, activities of a practical-presential nature, but it was the best option at a time of pandemic. The search for the incentive to create videos using “PowerPoint” guided the objectives of this work, and the videos were produced and viewed both on computers and on cell phones, where it was possible to demonstrate in a practical way the use of the tools that are part of the program. Many topics were approached, such as the region's potentialities, the sustainable development goals, the global pact, the production of home gardens for small spaces and productive backyards, subjects widely discussed worldwide. In short, the interaction and improvement of the work was noticeable, showing satisfactory results with the different school communities. As an evaluation; a questionnaire was sent via google form, verifying the level of satisfaction of the participants, where it was possible to notice the group's feedback and ideas for improving the project.
